STEELHEAD CREEK VINEYARDS

Barns and buildings

WELL LOVED ANIMALS (PART OF THE FAMILY).

Animals are uncomplicated, always glad to see you. Unconditional love, never a bad day, never raise their voices. We can learn a lot from these creatures on how to live our lives and how to treat each other.

Front of the barn

Barn Pros wood barn. 4 stalls, office, tack room, hay stall, and large party room upstair. Take note of the bat houses on the second floor. The tiny Sonoma County bats are very welcomed here, as they keep the biting insects under control.

Back of the barn

Beautiful vineyard view from the barn upstair deck

Horse Heaven

We thought about naming this place "Horse Heaven Hills", but the name was already taken. The name would have been very appropriate as the horses love it here. No need to trailer them anywhere for a ride, there are plenty of trails on the property.

Vineyard shed

Tools and equipment are kept here. Even the shed has some knock out views!

A give and take relationship

There is something romantic about a faint rooster's crow in the morning (from a distance, that is). The hens are happy to give. Just a little care will go a long way. Once you taste organic farm fresh eggs, you will look at store-bought eggs with complete skepticism!

Does it get any better than this?

“I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o'er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.”William Wordsworth,   I Wander'd Lonely as a Cloud
